What is Rapid Webstore ?

Rapid Webstore is unique webstore software. It is completely generated on the fly,
and it can be setup in less than 10 minutes if CGI is working.

Rapid Webstore uses two files, catalog.dat and groups.dat. The catalog.dat is self
explantory and the groups.dat is where the different areas or groups are catergorized
on the startup page.

Who can run Rapid Webstore ?

Anyone can run it as long as you have CGI access on the server you are trying to
run RapidWebstore from.

use it and be kind enough to tell others about it.

How to RUN Rapid WEBSTORE

3 Easy steps.

1) Make sure the following directories exist under your webstore directory
webstore/basket
webstore/logs
webstore/orders
webstore/images
webstore/html

These will have been created, when you untar the file. To untar the file, just type

gzip -dc RapidWebstore-1.00.tar.gz | tar -xvf -

2) Make sure the directory has CGI access and can run CGI programs, else see
your sysadmin.

--> Edit CONFIG.PL, change your URL

3) Point a link or in your location box
http://www.yoursitename.com/webstore/webstore.cgi

Very easy and quick.

The only files you would need to edit would be for the catalog, are catalog.dat
and groups.dat
